Conference Goals:

  • Increase awareness of the disability community both locally and globally.
  • See life through the perspective of a person with a disability.
  • Reflect on the experiences of those who have worked with persons with disabilities both STJ students and practitioners.
  • Learn how human rights and theological perspective contributes to embracing persons with disabilities.
  • Identify programs and best practices that foster acceptance of the entire person.

Keynote Speaker: Mark K. Shriver is Senior Vice-President of U.S. Programs at Save the Children in Washingon, DC and a former Maryland state legislator.
