Transportation Resources Following Hurricane
Sandy
This webpage has been created to help students, faculty and
staff address transportation challenges following the storm.
Updates will be made as news and additional resources become
available.
MTA: We encourage all to visit the MTA web site
frequently as service continues to be restored in the

Temporary shuttle services: The University is
offering these temporary shuttles services through November
9.
Manhattan, Northern Queens, and Northern Nassau:
Auburndale Station (Long Island Railroad)
Pick-up and drop-off at Northern Blvd and 192nd street, two blocks
from the Auburndale LIRR station, continuous loop from 8:00am to
6:00pm.
Kew Gardens Subway (E and F Trains)
Pick-up and drop-off at Queens Boulevard and 78th Avenue in front
of the Healthy Corner Pharmacy. Includes stops along Union Turnpike
at DePaul Houses, Seton Complex and 135th Street and Union
Turnpike.
Manhattan, Southern Queens, Brooklyn and Southern Long
Island:
Jamaica Station (Long Island Railroad, E, J, Z Trains)
Pick-up and drop-off at the corner of Sutphin Boulevard and Archer
Avenue in front of Duane Reade, making stops at the 179th Street
and Hillside Avenue F train station, and the corner of Henley Road
and Homelawn Street.
These services are based on current subway and rail conditions.
We will continue to monitor the mass transit and may adjust routes
and schedules accordingly.
