Receiving a higher education is a privilege. Through good fortune and hard work, St. Vincent de Paul was able to overcome poverty and receive an education. He used this privilege to help the less fortunate, and, following his example, so too do our students and faculty engage minds and hearts in alleviating disparities and suffering, be it in their neighborhoods or across the globe.
