As the academic year ended, the University accepted
Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s
challenge to fight global climate change by reducing the
University’s carbon footprint by 30 percent within 10 years. The
Office of Facilities has been making progress in creating and
adopting best practices to achieve this goal, supporting the
Mayor’s view that universities, as the shapers of tomorrow’s global
leaders, are the right group to lead this undertaking.
