A Leading Global Educator

St. John’s evolution into a leading global educator is also being reinforced by expanding the University’s physical presence.

Beds are being added at the Manhattan campus in preparation for converting it into one of the University’s international learning centers. We acquired an additional site in Rome to expand student facilities as part of the University’s goal of transforming our Rome site into its premier study abroad hub. To further solidify its global presence, St. John’s also secured a property in Paris that is being developed into an international learning center similar to the Rome campus and we are also forging visionary partnerships with other institutions such as All Hallows College in Dublin and Hanoi National Education University in Vietnam providing a widening number of overseas facilities for pursuing an international education. St. John’s held a high-level three-day conference in Goa, India, on a critical sustainable development issue in India — bridging the country’s technology digital divide. This gap reflects the fact that poor villagers have little or no access to the Internet, excluding them from participating in their nation’s economic progress. The event — the College of Professional Studies’ first overseas conference — was designed to spark a crucial public conversation for those concerned with social and economic inequities.
