A two-story, 38,000 square foot Athletic Field House is under
construction adjacent to Carnesecca Arena. And existing facilities
in Carnesecca Arena and the University Center will be renovated for
Recreation, Student Life and Intercollegiate Athletics.
Athletic Field House Highlights
- Four full-sized basketball courts - two for Student Life, two
for Varsity Basketball
- Academic support classrooms and study space for
student-athletes
- Audio/visual rooms for all varsity athletic teams
- Exclusive Sports Medicine and weight training facilities
Carnesecca Arena and University Center
renovations include
- A 6,400 square foot Health Center in Carnesecca Arena, for use
by Student Life and Athletics, including weight training equipment,
aerobics and dance studios and a student lounge.
