For the sixth consecutive year, the Master’s in Library Science
program procured funding from the competitive Edmund Muskie,
Freedom Support Act Graduate Fellowship Program. This enabled the
school to enroll eight students from the former Soviet Union and
maintain its third place ranking (behind McGill and Michigan) among
ALAaccredited programs in the percentage of international
students.
Pending New York state approval, a Doctor of Audiology program
will be administered and offered through a consortium of Adelphi
University, Hofstra University and St. John’s University. This
unprecedented collaborative professional doctorate will offer
optimal use of each university’s resources and represents a logical
evolution of the schools’ current master’s programs.
