St. John’s University Professor of Biological Sciences, Simon
Moller, Ph.D, was recently interviewed by NY1 Health Reporter
Shazia Khan about his innovative research of Parkinson’s
Disease. The feature is scheduled to air Tuesday, August 7 on

Dr. Moller is the recipient of a $900,000 grant issued by the
Research Council of Norway. The grant supports Dr. Moller’s
research on mechanisms involved in the onset of Parkinson’s
disease, a degenerative disorder affecting neurons that enable the
brain to generate body movements.
