Office of Community Relations presents “Breezy Big Band Summer” as
part of its annual concert series highlighting the Queens Symphony
Orchestra on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:00 p.m. on the University’s

said Joseph Sciame, Vice President for Community Relations. “This
event is a labor of love and a great number of people contribute to
the success of this venture. We appreciate all of their efforts and
look forward to an outstanding performance by the Queens Symphony
Orchestra under the stars on our Queens campus.”
Other features at the concert include a Show Mobile stage
provided by Queens Park Commissioner Dorothy Lewandowski that will
provide the backdrop for The Barbara Merjan Trio to perform with
the Queens Symphony Orchestra with conductor Constantine
Kitsopoulos, and a special tribute will be given to St. John’s
