Queens, NY -  St. John's University College of Professional Studies Sport Management department hosted Oscar Nominee Spike Lee in a discussion of his 2002 documentary "Jim Brown:  All American," today.  Mr. Lee discussed his films in detail and expanded his presentation to include a discussion of current events.  He also took the opportunity to answer the more than 250 St. John's University students that were present at the event.

"We were happy to provide our students the opportunity to explore Sports Management through a prominent figure in sports history," said Prof. Dick Barnett, Assistant Professor of Sport Management. "Integrating various media, current events, sports history and influential speakers into our program provides students with insight on the varied components that make up the field."
