After having studied in Europe for fifteen weeks, I was somewhat skeptical that this short, two week trip to Bermuda could ever be more rewarding than such an adventure. However, I was completely wrong and I can confidently say that this trip was more rewarding, enlightening, and beautiful than my time abroad in this past fall semester. I have done things here that I never before imagined possible and learned endless information about sustainability and socioeconomic issues.

With such a steep pricetag for the credits, I was really hoping I was going to get my moneyʼs worth in regards to the excursions we would be taking. I can confidently say that the trips we took will forever be burned into my memory as one of the best times in my life. My favorite trip without a doubt was when we went to Nonsuch Island and then snorkeling short after. Too have some of the most beautiful and colorful parrotfish swim right up to my face is a memory that few will ever experience and I am so thankful for this program presenting me the opportunity for such a thing to occur. Some other enjoyable adventures for me was the trip to Walsingham, community service swimming, and lastly the St. Georgeʼs walking tour.

As long as the days were, having lectures all day on some, I retained very valuable information from the lecturers. To have some of the leading activists from this island speak to us on very key issues was a huge treat and I am completely grateful for their finding time to present to us.

As stressful as this trip was at times, the joy and happiness that I had from the trips and the lectures has made this adventure worth every penny. I will forever remember this two week period as one of the greatest times in my life. Thank you so much professor for making such a program available and I hope to keep in touch. Thanks so much.
