Coca-Cola’s “Happiness Machine” made an appearance at St. John’s University’s Queens campus before the holidays and spread joy throughout the campus with its unique and hysterical promotion.
The stunt was part of a nationwide video promotion showing a seemingly typical Coke machine set in the middle of a college campus cafeteria. The machine, with the affordable purchase of $1, surprised customers with an array of Coke beverage treats, flowers, pizzas, twelve-foot hero sandwiches and sunglasses to elicit hysterical responses from the student body (see video link below) and deliver “doses of happiness” in the process.
