Michael Sampson, Ph.D., was appointed dean of The School of Education in 2014. A noted author who specializes in the professional development of teachers, Sampson has established a record of leadership spanning four states, including his current national role on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE). He earned his doctorate in reading education from the University of Arizona.
