A record 1,962 students joined in solidarity at the Queens campus on April 21 to raise more than $137,200 for the fight against cancer at St. John’s 12th Annual Relay For Life®—bringing the total raised by the University’s students since 2006 to more than $1 million.

Barbadian filmmaker Lisa Harewood has dedicated many of her professional efforts to accurately depicting the Caribbean experience. She presented her latest effort, a 16-minute film entitled Auntie, at St. John’s University’s Queens, NY, campus this spring.
