Graduate Students Present Innovations at Interactive Design Thinking Symposium
On December 13, 2017, graduate students of International Communication at St. John’s University presented a variety of innovative projects they developed throughout a class in Design Thinking at a Graduate Symposium. The event was organized and moderated by Dr. Minna Horowitz, who led the Design Thinking class during this fall semester.
Students Create Documentary Videos About Trip to China
Qichen Yang, one of the students of the ICM program who graduated this May, filmed and edited video material to create a documentary series about the students' trip to China. These videos give insight into the students' experiences and impressions of culture and society in Beijing and Sanya.

The St. John's Alumni Christmas season began on a dazzling note as more than 70 members and guests of The McCallen and Loughlin Societies enjoyed a performance of The Magic Flute, sung in English, at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center.

St. John’s 27th Annual Winter Carnival, a week-long celebration of the season, concluded on December 6 as students, faculty, staff, alumni, and parents gathered on the Queens campus for the University’s Christmas tree lighting and Grucci fireworks display.
Notre Dame College Alumnae Annual Christmas Tea
Notre Dame College Alumnae held their Annual Christmas Tea on Sunday, December 3rd in Flynn Hall Lobby of the Administration Building. The Tea was reminiscent of their days at Notre Dame College with Mother St. Egbert (Sr. Helen Flynn). Maureen O’Brien ‘62NDC, the current president welcomed everyone. The alumnae began the day by attending Mass celebrated by Rev. Robert Pagliari, CSSR. Following the Mass they kept the tradition and holiday spirit alive by enjoying the day sharing memories and reuniting with friends.
