The site of the 1964–65 New York World’s Fair—Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens—was the ideal venue for a celebration hosted by The McCallen Society on June 1, in honor of its members who graduated from St. John’s 50 years ago, in 1964.

Members of The McCallen Society enjoy reminiscing about the past – but they can’t help but keep tomorrow’s students at the forefront. And at The McCallen Society Annual Recognition Mass and Luncheon, St. John’s University thanked these generous donors for all that they do.
Fifty years is a long time. But for the members of the Class of 1963, those years seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, especially when they were reminiscing and sharing memories with their fellow alumni at The Jubilarian Society Dinner.
Spending the winter in Florida has become a way of life for many St. John’s University alumni. And while they may be separated from the University geographically for a few months every year, they have not lost their connection to the St. John’s family that continues to play an important part in their lives.
