Conrado “Bobby” Gempesaw, Ph.D., President, St. John’s University, thanked those in attendance for their outstanding loyalty and support that continues to impact St. John’s in so many ways.
Members of The McCallen Society, The Loughlin Society, students, and representatives from the Office of Student Affairs gathered at the Queens Theatre for a production of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” on November 15.
It was a time for joyful celebration and thoughtful reflection as the University acknowledged the generosity of its leadership donors and thanked them for their exceptional support during the current fiscal year.
The bugles were calling on August 8, 2014, as members of the Board of Trustees, the Board of Governors, The Founder's Society, The McCallen Society, The Loughlin Society, Benefactor Council and Trustee Circle embarked on a weekend excursion to Saratoga Race Course.
On September 17, 2014 members of The Loughlin Society, The McCallen Society, and other alumni gathered at the Garden City Country Club for the annual Meet the Experts seminar.
The site of the 1964–65 New York World’s Fair—Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens—was the ideal venue for a celebration hosted by The McCallen Society on June 1, in honor of its members who graduated from St. John’s 50 years ago, in 1964.
The performing arts are alive and well at St. John’s University, and nothing showcased that quite like the Annual Spring Concert.
For the members of The Loughlin Society, supporting St. John’s University is a reflection of their commitment to the values that have helped to shape their lives. Whether they graduated decades earlier or were students just a few years ago, their generosity makes it apparent that St. John’s will always be important to them.
