On March 6, The College of Professional Studies hosted its first ever conference on Homeland Security and Cyber Security titled: “Using Scenario Building and Simulation Technologies for Educating Next Generation Homeland Security and Cyber Security Professionals”.
In January 2017, 13 CPS Seniors participated in the Dean’s International Opportunities Program in Paris, France. This unique global experience sponsored by the Office of Global Studies and the College of Professional Students was led by Associate Professor Jeffrey P. Grossmann and Adjunct Professor Daphne Grossmann.
Fifteen students from St. John’s Staten Island campus spent early January 2016 in Paris, France, where they learned about international efforts to combat terrorism with a University professor who has extensive law enforcement experience.
