244 J.D. candidates and 46 who received LL.M. degrees at the Commencement exercises, held June 5 on the Queens campus
St. John’s University concluded its commencement exercises on Sunday after a week of graduation ceremonies marking the university’s 146th academic year.
More than 3,000 family members and friends joined the St. John’s School of Law community as 249 J.D. and 57 LL.M. candidates received their degrees during Commencement Exercises.
On Sunday, June 7, 2014, the Law School’s 249 J.D. candidates and 57 LL.M. candidates convened at Carnesecca Arena for Commencement Exercises.
Presiding over his first Commencement as President of St. John’s, Conrado "Bobby" Gempesaw, Ph.D., encouraged students to say 'Thank you,' to their parents, teachers, and all those who guided them on their journey.

St. John’s President, Conrado (Bobby) Gempesaw, Ph.D., and The Most Rev. David O’Connell, C.M., Bishop of Trenton, NJ, will serve as Commencement Speakers for the Staten Island and Queens ceremonies, respectively.
The Rome graduates now join an alumni network of 170,000 strong whose presence in the United States and around the world lends support and provides opportunities.
