Several executive board members of the Law School's Frank S. Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute (PTAI) will employ the skills they gained in mock trial competition when they start their full-time work this fall as criminal lawyers serving the public interest.

Sprizzo Reception hosted by St. John's Law and featuring the presentation of the Sprizzo Award to Hon. Loretta A. Preska, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

On May 5, 2015, Pierre Georges Bonnefil ’88 was appointed a Chevalier in the French Légion d’Honneur by the Republic of France. Established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, the Légion d’Honneur is France’s highest award and one of the most prized distinctions in the world.

The Law School’s Frank S. Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute ended its 2014-2015 mock trial competition season with an impressive record that included four championships and two visits to nationals. Along the way, five of its student advocates earned individual awards for their outstanding trial skills.
