Cardinal Edward M. Egan, a former archbishop of New York and a friend to St. John's Law, died on Thursday at age 82.
Jason Pachter '17 spent the better part of the last decade as Jason Shain, a New York-bred folk rocker with a strong stage presence and a musical style that critics called reminiscent of some of the greats—Dylan, Springsteen, Browne, Young, and Mellencamp. He brings the staunch work ethic and creative perspective of a singer-songwriter to his studies at St. John's Law.
