The Bolt Productions Podcast Equipment, Staten Island

Staten Island students now have the opportunity to create exciting content with the campus’ Podcast Program, The Bolt, thanks to student initiative and the hard work of Amanda Ferrandino, ‘18CPS Bachelors in Communications. The umbrella organization, Bolt Productions will act as a multimedia platform. Their content will range from news videos to events taking place on and off campus, podcasts, etc. The show’s segments will run and will be recorded in form of a radio show.
The newly renovated Communications studio in the Dasilva Building will serve as the location for filming and broadcasting for The Bolt. “The students were so excited and are making lots of plans to put this all to good use. Thanks to everyone for your support on this project”, said Deborah Greh, Ed.D., Director of the Communication Arts program.
The program was created in order to utilize the Communications facility in a new and creative way as well as give students a way to be more involved in their major or hobby. “I am hoping this program can bring together all of these students give them something to look forward to on campus. I am hoping this can be a big team with students from every area of study,” said Ferrandino, ‘18CPS Bachelors of Communications and Producer of The Bolt Productions.
