President Gempesaw Reflects on his First Three Years at St. John's with NET-TV

St. John’s University alumna Liz Faublas ’91SVC, host of NET-TV’s “Currents,” came to St. John’s to tour the Queens campus with President Conrado “Bobby” Gempesaw, Ph.D. on Tuesday, May 2.  Together, they visited the new state-of-the-art home of the Peter J. Tobin College of Business, St. Thomas More Church, and the D ‘Angelo Center, where the two sat down for an in-depth discussion about Dr. Gempesaw’s first three years as President of St. John’s.  

Dr. Gempesaw spoke of the many positive changes happening at St. John’s, including increased enrollment and retention rates.  In addition, Dr. Gempesaw addressed the changing landscape of higher education as well as the importance of living the Catholic and Vincentian mission of St. John’s.  The University remains committed to transforming the lives of each of our students.
