Tuesday, April 5, 2016

Elizabeth (Liz) Ciabocchi, Ed.D., SJU Vice Provost for Digital Learning and Executive Director of Online Learning & Services, recently led an evaluation team on an accreditation visit for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Serving as team chair, Ciabocchi was accompanied by four other colleagues (Dr. Gladys Schrynemakers, Medgar Evers College, CUNY; Dr. Cristi Ford, University of Maryland University College, Mr. Juan Sandoval, formerly of Midwestern State University, and Dr. Tito Guerrero, III, MSCHE) on the visit to the Ana G. Mendez Virtual Campus--a fully online, private higher education institution in San Juan, Puerto Rico--from March 27-30, 2016.

Ciabocchi, who also served on three previous visiting teams, states “the opportunity to assist colleagues in other universities in meeting and maintaining the Middle States standards of educational quality is a great privilege and a valuable learning experience.  I’m very grateful to Provost Mangione and Senior Vice Provost Moller for their support of my accreditation work and service to the MSCHE.”
