Join Campus Ministry’s Jeans Drive
With the arrival of spring, Campus Ministry invites the St. John’s community to support their Jeans Drive. Jeans of all sizes and in good condition, along with men’s shoes, t-shirts, and toiletries will be accepted throughout April and May. Student volunteers will distribute these donated items along with bagged meals to homeless individuals during the University’s weekly Midnight Runs, one of the many Vincentian service efforts organized by Campus Ministry.
“I've noticed that jeans are preferred by the people we see, most likely because they are more durable pants and can be worn more than once without wrinkling,” said Jordan Bouchard ’14C, a Campus Ministry student leader for Midnight Run.
During the spring semester, the St. John’s community has demonstrated true Vincentian spirit by donating over 50 coats for Midnight Run, along with shirts, sweatshirts, men’s and women’s pants, and toiletries. Campus Ministry also received more than 25 comforters for St. John’s Bread and Life. We are very grateful for your support.
