There’s a warm, family feeling when you step foot on the Staten Island campus, and that was never more obvious than during St. John’s Annual Family Day. Graduates and their children enjoyed beautiful fall weather as they participated in carnival games and picked pumpkins.
Adults mixed and mingled in an alumni pavilion tent set up on Spellman Courtyard, and children under 17 took home free pumpkins just in time for Halloween. Additionally, members of the Staten Island Alumni Association (SIAA) chatted with guests.
“Family Day on the Staten Island campus is a special celebration of not only our existing family ties, but also our growing SJU community,” said Andriana Lewinsky ’04CPS, ’12GEd, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. “It’s truly a day of appreciation for our dedicated alumni, parents, employees and friends, and – of course – it’s always a lot of fun!”
