Alyssa Zuckerman ‘13 has been selected as the 2012 Coca-Cola
Refreshments (CCR) Scholar for Excellence in Labor and Employment
Law.
Alyssa earned a BA in Broadcast Journalism and Psychology from New
York University and has worked in various labor and employment and
worker’s compensation law firms. At St. John's, she has received
the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Public Sector Labor Law.
The prestigious CCR scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving
first-year or second-year St. John's law student. In addition to
the monetary award, the CCR Scholar is offered summer employment in
the CCR labor relations department. “Celebrating its third year,
the Scholarship of Excellence in Labor and Employment Law commends
deserving students by helping them achieve their goals of higher
education in law. This program demonstrates Coca-Cola’s commitment
to students at St. John’s School of Law,” said Steven Johnson,
CCR’s Group Director of Labor Relations.

student, Ms. Zuckerman, for this honor," said Michael Van Aken,

Refreshments Scholar for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law,
Alyssa Zuckerman is also the Co-President of the Labor and
Employment Law Society. She combines superb academic achievements
with demonstrated leadership and is well respected by her peers.
She personifies our distinguished international reputation, and
will be a stellar Coca-Cola Refreshments Scholar.”
