Student-Faculty Presentation on the Electoral
College
Government and Politics majors will begin the
program with an overview of the Electoral College system,
including the history of the Electoral College, the process for
selecting electors, and the allocation of electoral votes.
Following the students' presentation, Dr. William Byrne,
Associate Professor of Government and Politics, St. John's College,
and Prof. Ellen Boegel, Associate Professor of Legal Studies,
College of Professional Studies, will lead a debate among
faculty members pertaining to the pros and cons of the Electoral
College.
