- Right Click on My Computer and select Map Network Drive.
- When the following Map Network Drive window appears:
a. Select the letter P: for the name of the drive.
b. For folder name you will type in the path
\\S-QNEW175APPS\Professors
c. Click on the Finish button and you will be prompted to enter you
username and password.
- When the window below appears, do the following;
a. User name = D_QMST_01\username. e.g. D_QMST_01\asmit123
b. Password = Is the password you use to log into a computer in the
St. John’s Computer Labs.
c. Make sure to check the “Remember my password” checkbox so that
you do not have to enter your credentials in the future
(optional).
- Once you have entered your username the professors will now be
mapped to your computer. To locate it, go to My Computer and under
the heading network drives the professors drive will appear under
the name “Username on ‘S-qnew175apps’ (P:)”.
Note
This will only work when you are connected to the Internet
through St. Johns. You will not be able to connect to your P:
drive from your house.
