University Tour Gallery

A Stunning Introduction
Faculty, staff, and students at St. John's were formally introduced to the University's new St. Thomas More Church during a tour on Tuesday, May 4, 2004.

After a presentation by Rev. Donald J. Harrington, C.M., President, and Dr. Julia A. Upton, R.S.M, Provost, the campus community walked through the spacious structure, which was filled with sunlight pouring through its tall windows. All observers were impressed by the stunning progress workers have made on completing the 134-year-old University's first free-standing church.
