Anthony Pacheco serves as Vice President for
Global Programs. He is responsible for the Office of Global
Studies, the University’s study abroad program, and The Language
Connection, the University’s intensive English program.
Mr. Pacheco came to St. John’s in 2000 and initially served as the
Vice President for Facilities and Construction. In that capacity he
oversaw the design and construction of several major projects
including Donovan Hall and the Belson Soccer Stadium. In 2003, Mr.
Pacheco was appointed Vice President and Chief of Staff to the
Office of the Executive Vice President. From 2003 through 2011, Mr.
Pacheco assisted in the development of the Public Safety Master
Plan, the initial phases of the Vincentian Institute for Social
Action, the expansion of the Rome campus and the development of the
Paris site. In 2010, Mr. Pacheco was appointed to his current
position as Vice President for Global Programs.
Prior to his joining St. John’s, Mr. Pacheco served as the Vice
President for Administration at Beth Israel Medical Center and,
before then, as Vice President for Facilities Management for
Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. A Registered Architect, Mr.
Pacheco received his B.S. in Architecture from the City College of
New York and his master’s of Architecture from Arizona State
University. Mr. Pacheco resides in New Jersey with his wife and two
sons.
