I Hate Blackboard.....What Do You Use?
While Blackboard is the most-used Course Management Software on campus and is fully supported by Information Technology, a number of faculty have investigated alternatives that they find to be more effective for their needs. In this session, you will learn about three different approaches to organizing material in interesting ways for students.

First-Ever App Slam
We are taking the plunge and having our first App Slam to help you discover nifty software applications that will help you spark your teaching, keep you organized, and be a more effective researcher. We will present a dozen apps that work on one or more platforms. If you have an app you would like to share, send no more than two PowerPoint slides about your choice to firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can have the entire Slam organized ahead of time.
If you are bringing your laptop, please make sure that it is on the SJU wireless network. If your device is not on the wireless network, contact the e-Studio at 718-990-6402 prior to the day of the workshop to have your laptop set-up on the wireless network.
