Magistrate Judge Peck is a graduate of Cornell University (1974) and Duke University School of Law (1977). Following law school, Mr. Peck served as a law clerk to Judge Paul Roney of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. From 1978 until 1995, Mr. Peck was an associate and then Counsel at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, practicing commercial litigation, principally in federal court, and arbitration. He was appointed a Magistrate Judge in 1995 and served as Chief Magistrate Judge in the SDNY during 2004-2005. Judge Peck is a leading national expert and frequent lecturer on electronic discovery.
