School of Law - LALSA Networking Event
Join the Latin American Law Students Association for a Networking Event:
Do you feel uncomfortable when you attend networking receptions? Is your lack of confidence holding you back from building professional relationships?
The Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) and the Career Development Office invite you to attend the Networking 101 Workshop. We are excited to welcome our guest presenter, Ms. Patricia Fitzpatrick, the founder of The Etiquette School of New York (http://etiquette-ny.com/)
The workshop will cover some networking basics such as making an entrance, making small talk, preparing an "elevator" speech or introduction, exchanging business cards, juggling a wine glass, a plate and handshakes, and a lot more! Students will leave feeling more confident and ready to start building professional relationships at the next networking event.
RSVP is required. Since this is a workshop as opposed to a lecture, we will limit admission to the first 30 students who register. To register, you must pay $10 to Edda Santiago. You can stop by the SBA Office or email Edda at Santiago.email@example.com.
Professional Attire is required for this event.
