Podcasts can help build community in an online class by making a voice-connection with course participants; podcasts can also allow an "outside expert" to enrich class dialogue in any course. This workshop will identify and demonstrate tools that can help anyone create podcasts that range from "on-the-fly interviewing" to "polished recordings" that incorporate creative-commons music, chapters and citations.
