Department Showcase Series: Office of Marketing and Communications
The Department Showcase Series is intended to give University community members a better understanding of the functions and services provided by the many departments of the University. St. John's University Office of Human Resources created the Series to generate opportunities for cross-departmental learning and to raise awareness of services available to students across the University. By attending the Department Showcase Series, employees gain an improved sense of the connections that exist among departments. This knowledge enhances employees’ ability to effectively respond to student needs and it improves the efficiency of service delivery overall.
Join the Office of Marketing and Communications for St. John’s next Department Showcase. Over the past two years, the Office of Marketing and Communications has advanced significantly in its efforts to better address the promotional needs of the University, its schools, and its programs. Following a structural reorganization, an in-depth research study examined perceptions of the institution’s brand identity. The study led to a refreshed branding platform and graphic identity that was recently translated into a multimedia advertising campaign and new University website.
