Just two weeks before the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Walk, representatives from each of the St. John's University
athletic teams and the St. John's community responded to a
request by the Office of Community Relations to help raise
additional awareness for Breast Cancer Month.
The Athletic Department sponsored a Fun-Run on the Queens
Campus showing their support for the fight against breast
cancer. Tables were setup outside St. John Hall with
information about the American Cancer Society.
Additionally, St. John's athletes helped to place over 300
pink bows around campus to encourage students to join in the
Walk.
