Student Operations

We are dedicated to a high quality, service-driven culture that enhances the experience of the Student Center and all student events.

We are professionals that act with integrity, show respect, and always have our “customers” in mind—and we have fun while doing it.

Our team exemplifies specific behaviors that lead to a productive culture and environment:

D’Angelo Center (DAC)

Opened in Fall 2009, the D'Angelo Center is the state-of-the-art building designed especially for students.

The 127,000 square feet, five-story building is by far the most popular hub of student life on the Queens campus. This $77 million student-centered structure has been a dream of the university and has been designed to enhance the learning environment and student life on campus.

Named after Peter and Peg D’Angelo and their family, who both serve as esteemed alumni and longstanding benefactors of St. John’s University, the D’Angelo Center reflects St. John's focus on providing the highest quality campus and academic services—and the loyalty of graduates like Peter and Peg D’Angelo, whose generosity made the Center possible. Peter D’Angelo ‘78MBA is a University trustee. Margaret LaRosa D’Angelo ‘70Ed chairs The School of Education’s leadership committee.

D’Angelo Center Hours:

Saturday: 8 a.m. to 3 a.m.
