Center for Counseling and Consultation

We are dedicated to helping St. John's students cope more effectively with personal or emotional difficulties that may interfere with their ability to live well, relate to others, and succeed academically.

The Center for Counseling and Consultation's services include assessment, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, consultation and referral. Psychiatric consultation is also available when appropriate.

All services are free and confidential within the limits of legal and ethical restrictions.

The Center for Counseling and Consultation operates within a short-term counseling model, and those with more longstanding or specialized issues will be helped to find more appropriate resources within the community.

As part of Wellness Education and Prevention Services, we work closely with all members of the University community to help create a healthy and balanced environment to foster personal growth and development as well as a sense of community connectedness and responsibility.
