Project Management Training
Audience: Project Managers
Project Management focuses on those elements that are critical to effective project management: managing people and managing projects. The workshop looks at conducting effective meetings with clients and how the project manager begins to manage relationships with clients and consultants from the initial meeting. Additionally, the workshop addresses the phases of project management: initiation, definition, planning, implementation, and closure. Participants will learn the importance of drafting a project charter, the impact the triple constraints (time, cost and quality) have on a project, the importance of a communication plan and the role project status updates have in keeping the project on track. Lastly, the workshop focuses on managing the people side of projects. It looks at some of the common problems project managers may encounter and ways to address them.
