A Shoot for the STARS

On March 15th, 2012, the S.T.A.R. Mentor Program held a craft event called "Shoot for the Stars."  With blank photo frames, 3D Stars, and decorations in hand the participants got to working on a multitude of crafts. With stickers, glitter, markers, and even the occasional puzzle piece S.T.A.R. members made personalized photo frames to capture the memories that were made and encapsulated with photos from the day. Smiling faces flourished in an afternoon spent amongst friends. Buddies and mentors worked together, taking photos, making decorative photo frames and beautiful 3D blue stars for the upcoming  "Light It Up Blue" events.  With music playing, crafts being made, photos being taken, and laughs being shared, Common Hour just seemed to fly by. Everybody enjoyed and afternoon full of crafts and good times.
