Management Students Recognized during Sigma Iota Epsilon Induction Ceremony

The Peter J. Tobin College of Business accepted twenty-eight candidates into Sigma Iota Epsilon, a national honorary and professional management fraternity, during its Twentieth Annual Induction Ceremony held on the Queens Campus on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

Dean Victoria Shoaf and Dr. John Angelidis, management department chair, presented each student with a certificate of membership. In receiving the award and key, each student professed his or her belief in the values and goals of the fraternity. Student inductees were: Joseph Antonakos, Shana Barnes, Jesse Brasco, Jonathan Calliste, Wallace Chan, Edward Colea, Larry Crawford, Alejandro Felix Rojas Lopez De Aragon, Debbie Erickson, Steven Fisher, Joe Gilani, Asia Jolicoeur, Marcin Kaczmarski, Lauren LoPrimo, Elisa Martellaccio, Mark McDonald, Alexander Mikrut, Eun Gee Min, Xavier Mogollon, Nicole Musco,  Matthew Parry,  Lindsay Steen, Frank Tantone, Giancarlo Villanella,  May Wang, Scott Weiss, Tiffany Wong, and Zhongya Zhang.
 
Sigma Iota Epsilon, founded in 1927, recognizes scholastic excellence and promotes cooperation between academic and practical aspects of management. Membership is extended to students who hold high academic standing and have demonstrated an interest in management or management-related areas. A cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher is required.
