St. John’s Conference Highlights Impact of Climate Change on Insurance Industry
Potential solutions to the insurance industry crisis imposed by climate change brought executives, economists, thought leaders, and government policymakers to St. John’s University’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science on June 10 for a daylong conference aimed at helping the industry navigate new risks and vulnerabilities.

Graduating Seniors Reflect on College Experience Marked by Pandemic
In Fall 2020, amid the pandemic, St. John’s University welcomed a new class of Johnnies—more than 2,000 first-year students whose college experience would be unlike any class before them. Their perseverance amid adversity showcased their determination and ability to overcome obstacles with resilience. Insurance Leader of the Year Award Dinner Raises Funds and Opportunities for St. John’s
In a festive Manhattan ballroom hosting a venerable collection of some of the most accomplished members of the insurance industry, St. John’s University’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science (GSRM), part of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, hosted its 28th annual Insurance Leader of the Year (ILOTY) Award Dinner on January 23, raising a total of $2,912,000 to fund student scholarships and support academic program initiatives.
